Chester Mystery Plays  - The Second Coming – Liverpool

 

 

 

Hi

 

 

 

Hope everyone is well and looking forward to performing at Liverpool Cathedral in October.

 

 

 

Please find below a list of rehearsals, which you are expected to attend. If you have a problem with attendance, please let Andrew know.

 

 

 

We have a lot of work to do for this concert performance, and we must stress that the emphasis is on good quality choral singing.

 

 

 

Please bring a compact size mirror and an elastic band to the first rehearsal.

Help Needed

 

Before we can rehearse in the rehearsal room again – it needs a big sort out – so please could you come along on the 2nd Sept from 7pm to have tidy  - please don't leave it to everyone else.

 

 

 

Singing Rehearsals – 7.30pm to 9.30 (with tea 8.20 – 8.40)

 

As Matt is away on Holiday, the singing rehearsals will be taken by Ruth.

Parking

 

The CMP Parking passes are NO longer valid – so please do not attempt to use them – However at the Princess Street Car Park – “Parking is free for all after 3pm”  For the Saturday and Sunday rehearsals – you could utilise the Park and ride

 

 

Tea makers for Rehearsals

 

If any one can spare an evening to help make the tea then please let us know

 

 

Who will be performing?

 

We are hoping to include everyone who was involved in either the Prophecy or the Fulfiment, including Jigsaw, the Dancers, Stagecoach and Karamba Samba. However we reblocking for the second coming and everyone will be expected to be in the whole concert – So those that were only in one part in Chester, will need to learn the other songs.

 

 

During the concerts can we use folders with the words in?

 

No – you will need to learn all the songs

What are the Dates?

 

We will be performing on Friday 10th Oct and Saturday 11th October, the performance will start at 7.30pm.

 

 

 

How do we get to Liverpool?

 

You will be responsible for making your own way to Liverpool including paying for any parking and tunnels tolls– CMP has no funds to pay for this.

 

 

However we are looking at pricing coaches and if sufficient people would like to pay for this means of transport – we can arrange this.

 

 

Where do we get tickets from?

 

Tickets are currently on sale at both Liverpool and Chester Cathedrals and at the Tourist Information Centres, in Liverpool.

 

 

We are trying to set up ticket sales at rehearsals, with the possibility of including coach travel for friends and family – So watch this space!

Garden Lane
. The future of the lane lies in an all important 5-a-side football match, and the most unlikely players are cobbled together.

A company of talented young actor/musicians bring this story by Rob Edmonds to life, with exciting music (with musical influences as diverse as Bonnie Tyler, Meatloaf and Les Miserables!!) by Matt Baker (recently appearing on BBC Last Choir Standing with his choir 'A Handbag of Harmonies'). Directed by Ally Cutler with choreography by Lindsay Inglesby (LIPA). Design by Rhyannon Richardson. Lighting by Ben Willets.
